We have now branched out to provide fishing breaks or just quiet holidays on our fishery site, and are pleased to invite you to sample the delights of our well equipped lodges or the existing five individual camping and caravan pitches adjacent to Heron Pool.
Our third lake, 'Kingfisher Pond' was opened in 2012, and has given some superb Tench and Bream action through the summer. How about sitting on your decking looking out over Heron Pool and then look out of the bedroom window to take in the view of Kingfisher Pond?
Fishing Lodge
With our angling holidays in Norfolk, the facilities that we offer are fast developing a reputation in the local area for being traditional and authentic, as well as adding to the overall experience of fishing.
Our new fishing lodges are the envy of many camp sites in Kings Lynn; the site is set in a quiet rural location and is situated in heart of the Norfolk countryside, giving peace and tranquillity as well as some lovely views. Within a short travelling distance are a number of attractions including:

- Swaffham (Stephen Fry's, 'Kingdom' location)
- North Norfolk Coast
- The Historic Town of Kings Lynn
Here at The Gayton Road Fisheries, we are involved with many of the fisheries in the Kings Lynn area and can give our holiday makers the opportunity to fish waters away from the main site.

Lodge Accommodation
If it's a fishing lodge in Norfolk that you are after then we have what you need. We boast two luxury self-catering lodges, which are available for holiday lets, overlooking Heron Pool, complete with reserved swim just beyond the lodge balcony.
Each lodge has two bedrooms – one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, a bathroom with bath, an overhead shower, toilet and hand basin. The kitchen area is complete with gas oven and hob, fridge/freezer, toaster, microwave and kettle and a table with four chairs, which leads into the living room. This contains a three piece suite, a TV connected to satellite Freeview and a DVD should you wish to watch something different.
A door from the living room leads out on to the balcony area where you will find a set of patio table and chairs, a gas barbeque and a view over Heron Pool. There is a dedicated parking space adjacent to each lodge and also a lockable container for the safe storage of your fishing tackle during your stay, as no fishing equipment or bait is allowed in the lodges at any time.
